PAYMENT OPTIONS

We offer various payment options, from pay as you go to monthly, 3 monthly, 6 monthly and yearly payment schemes.

Pay as you go being available to non members as well as members.

Student and Junior prices available, subject to terms and conditions.

We accept all major credit and debit cards, cash, cheques via payment at the gym, alternatively you can pay online for payment schemes and courses via The Ocean Gym Store

Your First Session

Before you can begin training we require that you complete a declaration and medical questionnaire.  If you are under the age of 16, this form must be completed by a parent/guardian.

If you decide to become a member we require 3 passport size photo's, these are for your membership card and gradings book, dont worry if you have not got these for your first week.

Please arrive early for your first session so that these forms can be completed or please feel free to call in and sign up.

Includes; Club membership/joining fee and gradings book.

Adult: £25 per year
Junior (16 and under): £15 per year
Student: £20 per year (Must be in full time education and terms and conditions apply)

PAYMENT SCHEMES

If you want more value for your money, why not go on one of our payment schemes, optional training length periods and from as little as £6.73 per week!!* Unlimited training for the stated duration in all classes (Thai Boxing, Boxing, Circuits & MMA**).

• Must be pre-paid in full for the entire duration in which your scheme applies to

*£6.73 per week refers to the equivalent weekly amount if you paid for a one year GOLD scheme and you get free club membership/no joining fee and two martial arts personal training sessions.

The gym is not open on bank holidays and Sunday’s, and will close for a two week period over Christmas/New Year

Equipment Requirements

Everyone is required to obtain their own kit after their first week, with the exception of Beginner Course Sessions.

The reasons for this are:

A) Hygiene. Communal used gloves harbour bacteria as they are used by so many people this can lead to skin infections and the spread of disease. Ask yourself, would you wear socks/football boots/t-shirts that had been worn by hundreds of other people, sweated in and unwashed?!!

B) Smell. Due to the mixing of sweat the gloves smell, gloves cannot be washed due to their composition. This leaves your hands smelling but also the gym smelling of sweat.

C) Injuries. Wearing gloves and shinpads that do not correctly fit your hands/legs can cause injury, so get your own that fit you and your style.

We have a shop that stocks all the equipment you may require.

Please note, that we only stock the better brands. If you buy a good quality pair of gloves and shinpads and take care of them, they will last you years. Cheaper brands will not last so well and if they are PVC they will smell very quickly, you may also find that the dye runs onto your skin from cheaper brands.
