Class Description

All classes in addition to the martial art being taught, will carry an element of body conditioning and with the exception of the ‘Fighters Only’ class are suitable for those who just wish to train for fitness or self defence. Full Contact sparring will only take place in the ‘Fighters Class’.

Beginners Courses will last for duration of 6 weeks and will teach all the basics to enable you to join the mainstream class. Although beginners are welcome in the standard classes, these courses will fast track your progress.

THAI BOXING

Thai Boxing traditionally known as Muay Thai is the national sport of Thailand and the fighting art of ‘eight limbs’. Considered as the toughest fighting style of all martial arts. Within these classes you will learn to punch, kick, knee and elbow, as well as defending yourself.

KICK BOXING

This is the western equivalent of Thai Boxing, and focuses on High Kicks and Boxing.

WHITE COLLAR BOXING

This is an excellent class for those wishing to perfect the skill and fitness of a boxer, and is the place to come if you want to compete in white-collar fights.  White Collar boxing being a sport where professionals such as Lawyers, Doctors, Accountants compete against individuals who work in a similar field. Instructed by qualified England ABA instructors.

MMA (Mixed Martial Arts)

MMA, as the name suggests is a mixture of various fighting arts. The majority of those who are successful in the ring have excellent Thai Boxing skills and ground fighting techniques. This class will teach both. You will learn the art of defending yourself in both a standing stance but also how to take down and succeed on the floor.

LUNCH BOX/CIRCUIT BOX

These are lunch hour classes, designed specifically for those with little time to spare. The class is 45mins in duration and following a warm up you will be pushed to the max. These classes are based on the punch bags and are great for work stress release.

KICK FITNESS/BOX FITNESS/CIRCUITS

Incorporating the skills of the martial arts whether that is Thai Boxing or Boxing, these classes are 1 hour of cardio, focussing on fitness. A great class for those looking to improve their fitness, body tone and conditioning whilst learning a skill.

OPEN BAG SESSIONS

For members only, non-instructor led these are open for you to come and blast the bags or pair up with someone else on the pads.
